I am a full time furniture maker, making a number of TV Risers, and other bespoke pieces of furniture, a job which I thoroughly enjoy doing. Prior to doing this used to work in the publishing world.
I have no employees – when you talk to me, you are talking to the designer maker.
My great great great uncle was William Hare Haseler, a Birmingham based silver & pewter smith, who worked with Liberties in the 1900s to make the Arts and Crafts / Art Deco Silver and Pewter ware. Some of their items, for example their silver & enamelled clocks, are on Antiques Road show, valued at £15,000 now.
I have several food ‘intolerances’, including having to avoid all Gluten (inc oats), Diary, Citrus and Egg, various fruit and veg, as well as certain other foods which I’m unable to eat, including Bananas and others.
